Being You
Have you ever thought "man I wish I was just like you?" My whole life I have heard people say I wish I had your looks or I wish I could be as smart as you. I mean really people! God made you who you are. If you be just like someone then there won't anybody to be you. You were put on this Earth for a reason. Not everybody has the same looks, personality, abilities, or friends but that don't make you any less of a person. Stay true to yourself. You are amazing just the way you are!

West Concord
Well tonight we traveled to West Concord Church of Christ to do our speeches, songs, and Bible reading. I was so nervous! The last time we went to do this at West Concord I was the youngest in the youth group and now I am the oldest. Everybody did such a good job! Even little Enoch and Jaiden did something being the youngest two participating in Lads to Leaders. During the girls performing little Bayley leaned over to me and said "Your going last because your oldest." I don't know if that is really why I went last but maybe being the oldest isn't so bad after all!

We have all seen the commercials advertising a certain product. The commercial for Skittles uses the saying "Taste the Rainbow", Hershey's are said to be "Simple Pleasure Chocolates." These are how people view these items. How do people view you as a Christian? When people see you do they think of how good you are or how bad you treated them? God wants us to be good people and to teach his word. If we don't present ourselves to people in the proper way then they won't think very much of us as Christians. So think about it how do people view you? How do you present your self?

My Grandmother
My grandmother's name is Helen. She is a member of the Church and she is a wonderful Christian lady. She is always there for me when I need her. My grandmother is constantly encouraging me to do better. She doesn't miss a band concert or softball game. My grandmother deals with me aggravating her when I am out of school and watches movies with me no matter how many times we have seen them all ready. I love my grandmother so much and I don't know what I would do with out her.

Best Friends
I have some of the best best friends anyone could ask for. I have three best friends. I can talk to them about anything. If I need anything they are they. We might not have been friends our whole lives but we are sisters for the rest of them!

Kayla Kilgore
Kayla Kilgore is my big sister. She isn't my real sister but she has known me since I was born. Kk is a great role model for me. She is there for me when I need to talk and she sticks up for me when someone is being mean to me. Kayla is in college right now to become a registered nurse. She doesn't give up when she has her mind set on something. I haven't seen my big sister in a while so I can't wait to be able to see her next week and have her come to my softball games. I love my big sister so much and she means the world to me!

Working on Scrapbook
Well today I sat down and really worked on scrapbook. Every year my scrapbook ends up being extremely too thick so I am trying to change that this year. Lads to Leaders is two weeks away and I still have tons to do to get it done on time. Today I also got my divider page pictures taken and about three sections done. I really shouldn't procrastinate.

Being Thankful
Are you thankful for what you have? We always ask for stuff we want at Christmas, birthdays, or just whenever but we never really stop and say thank you for what we have. Most of us have loving families and friends. Recently my friend Alexis lost her mom. Now how do you think she feels? While the rest of us are out asking for stuff we probably don't really need she is wanting her mom back. So next time instead of being so absorbed in what we want lets be thankful for what we have.

Asking Questions
Have you ever heard a little kid ask a bunch of questions? All my life I have heard if I have a question to ask it. That no question is a stupid question unless you do not ask it. I used to ask questions all the time and sometimes I still do. I hardly ever ask questions in school. As Christians we should constantly be wanting to learn more about God and asking questions if you have any. We can go to our preachers, parents, elders, deacons, or just go to the Bible for answers. Just remember that no question is stupid unless it's not asked!
