Kickoff

Well we just had our kickoff for Lads to Leaders on October 2, 2011. This year of Lads to Leaders is going to be great. There is so many different things you can chose from. I personally am doing seventeen things and I really need to start. It will be time for us to get packed, get in our cars, and be on our way to Nashville, Tennessee in no time at all.

Walkfest

Well the walkathon was this past weekend and there was a great turnout. There was a good amount of people there. We walked three miles from the community center to the camp. It took me and two little kids that were walking with me a little over an hour to get there. Please remember just because we are not doing the walkathon right now to get up money to go to camp that we all still need to donate money to the camp when we can.

Ladies Day

There will be a Ladies Day at Sylvan Springs Church of Christ. It will be on September 24, 2011 starting at 9:00 a.m. There will be a guest speaker, great singing, and more. Please come and bring friends and family no matter how old you are. It will be a great opportunity for everyone and it will be something that everybody will enjoy. Some of the ladies from my church have been working really hard to put this years Ladies Day together. A few of our youth and ladies will be leading songs, doing prayers, reading scriptures and more. Please spend just a couple of your hours with us that Saturday I can promise you it will be well worth it and you won't regret it.

Time to Start

Well it's just about time to start with Lads to Leaders stuff again if you haven't already. There is so much to choose from I have no idea what all to do. I hope this year will go really good for you at Lads to Leaders and in life. Lads to Leaders will be here in no time at all so you better get started now.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is comign up. You all are invited to Sylvan Springs Church of Christ next Sunday night at seven Sunday night through Wednesday. Please come and bring your friends. You will really enjoy it.

Tommorrow Is The Day

Well tomorrow is the day and I am so excited. I know we have a worked so hard and I know you all will do great. I have been looking forward to this year ever since the last competition. I hope you all have a good and safe trip up there and back. Good luck on everything you are doing if you are doing a event. Well got to get up early in the morning to head up there. I cant wait to see you all then.
