Baptisim

Recently my best friend was baptised. When she was baptised it occurred to me how many people skip some of the steps of salvation. Many people just think that all you have to do is say you believe Jesus is the son of God. Some people even think that you should just take the Lord's Supper once a month. None of these things are what the Bible tells us to do. The Bible tells us we are supposed to Hear,Believe,Repent,Confess,be Baptised, and Remain Faithful. We are also supposed to take the Lord's Supper every Sunday. So please if you are not baptised  talk to somebody about the Bible today! We would love to have you as a brother or sister in Christ!

Camp

Camp is my favorite part of summer. I attend Indian Creek Youth Camp. Going to church camp you are around tons of other Christians. While you are there you grow spiritually and emotionally stronger to God. I think going to camp is something that everybody should try.

Summer Time

Summer is the time when many of us go on vacations, sleep late, and hang out with friends. But Summer is also the time when we should try to grow closer to people that need to be taught the word of God. During the summer I understand it might get hot but seriously dress modestly! We cant expect to be a good example to other people if we barely have clothes on and act like everybody else in the world does. If non-Christians see us dressing and acting of the world then people are going to think its okay to act like that when it is really not.

Friendships

Friendships are important in our lives. But the thing is taking advantage of opportunities in those friendships. When we have friends they listen to us and come to us for advice. But when they come to us for those things what do we tell them? When we have conversations with our friends we should tell them about God and invite them to come to church with us.

Love One Another

The Bible says to love one another. Some people might say they love somebody but do they actually show it? As Christians we have the responsibility of working hard to show our love for our fellow man. There is several different ways we can show this no matter how old you are. You can clean someones house, send them a card, or just make a phone call. There is always someone you can love in your life and you should never think that you are not loved. Besides for God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son.

Finishing Up

Well I just officially finished all my pre-Lads to Leaders events. It has been really fun this year! Now all that is left is to pack. Some time putting things off isn't as good as you think it is at first. I want to wish everybody luck on finishing their stuff for the pre-events they are involved in.
