Are you thankful for what you have? We always ask for stuff we want at Christmas, birthdays, or just whenever but we never really stop and say thank you for what we have. Most of us have loving families and friends. Recently my friend Alexis lost her mom. Now how do you think she feels? While the rest of us are out asking for stuff we probably don't really need she is wanting her mom back. So next time instead of being so absorbed in what we want lets be thankful for what we have.

Asking Questions
Have you ever heard a little kid ask a bunch of questions? All my life I have heard if I have a question to ask it. That no question is a stupid question unless you do not ask it. I used to ask questions all the time and sometimes I still do. I hardly ever ask questions in school. As Christians we should constantly be wanting to learn more about God and asking questions if you have any. We can go to our preachers, parents, elders, deacons, or just go to the Bible for answers. Just remember that no question is stupid unless it's not asked!

Family Time
Every other weekend I spend time with my little cousin. My little cousin is eight years old. She isn't used to having cousins or someone to hang out with so when she's with me she never lets me out of her sight. I enjoy spending time with her and the rest of my family. I love them so much. We stick together through thick and thin.Posted by Keri at 7:46 PM 0 comment(s). Leave yours now!

Changes
We all have experienced changes in our lives. Most people don't like to experience change because they are too stuck in their ways or are scared of what is going to happen. Changes can hurt us or help us. Not all changes are bad. So next time before you start thinking that changes maybe you should consider all the options.

Following Directions
Have you ever been giving directions to follow? I know I have. I get told different directions a lot. In marching band I get specific directions on how to march. If I don't follow these directions I can mess up the whole show. My coach also gives me directions in softball. I get told a specific way to bunt, where to throw the ball, and how to run. God gives us directions too! God's directions are found in the Bible. If we don't follow the directions given then there will be consequences.

Sticking up for Whats Right
All your life you hear "Always do what is right" but how are we supposed to do this? You go through life we go through trials and tribulations. In high school I can tell you that sticking up for what is right is not always easy. When you are in high school you want to go along with what your friends are doing. Your friends might not always be doing what is right. Sometimes it is going to be your responsibility to defend what you know is right. Hold your head up high, be determined, and rely completely in God. If your "friends" don't stick by you when you do this then that is their fault not yours.

Coach Wiley
Coach Wiley is my softball coach. He attends Decatur Highway Church of Christ. Coach Wiley is supportive. He never lets us give up. If he sees me not doing my best he pushes me harder. Coach Wiley is always there for us. He is a great Christian, softball coach, and friend.
