Ambassadors

We have this thing at my school called ambassadors. It is a group of people chosen to further represent the school and community. They help with community service projects, help with school registration, and greeting people to the school. When we were first told about ambassadors we had to go through a very long process to see who would become one. We had to write a paragraph about why we wanted to be an ambassador, write a resume, have an interview, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and no discipline problems this school year. Last week I found out I was chosen along with a group of people to be a Minor High School Tiger Ambassador.

Well headed home from Virginia. My school band went there and stayed but went to perform in Washington, D.C. to play at Lincoln's memorial. It was a really cool experience. We saw so many different things. We even visited the White House! 

Lads to Leaders Convention 2014

I had so much fun at Lads to Leaders this year just like always! I got first place on my webpage, second place on my painting, second place on my scrapbook, and Jonathan Bourland platinum in Good Samaritans. I want to thank everyone for supporting me in everything I do. It means more then they will ever know. I would also like to congratulate everyone on their awards. If you didn't place or win anything in a certain event you competed in don't worry about it. You are a winner in God's eyes and that's all that matters! I'm already excited and ready to start preparing for next year! I hope that all of you will go back and participate and we will all get to see each other again! One of the best parts of the whole convention is that we get the chance to continue to learn how to grow as Christians and as leaders. The other is being able to be around all of the Christians. I know at the convention in Nashville we are getting the opportunity to be around almost 10,000 Christians of all ages which is so encouraging!

Driving to Lads to Leaders

I am so excited! I just drove all the way from Adamsville Alabama to Tennessee. This is my first time driving to Lads to Leaders. I hope everyone is having safe travels.

Tomorrow is the Day

Tomorrow is the day most of us will load up our cars and head to certain places for convention. It feels like Christmas Eve. I am so excited about heading to Nashville for convention. I hope everyone has a safe trip there and back this weekend. I also hope that everyone enjoys there weekend around thousands of other Christians just like us. I can't wait to see all of you there!!!!
