True Friends

What is your definition of a true friend?? My ideal true friend is someone who I can talk to about anything, I can be myself around this person, they are always willing to talk and hang out not just when it's convenient for them or just because they need something, my ideal true friend is someone who doesn't use me because I can do things they can't. I have went through several "best friends" they are only around long enough for them to get something out of it and once they got what they needed they stopped talking to me. It really hurts when someone you thought was your best friend doesn't talk to you but can talk to everyone else. People will always claim their your friend when they really aren't. There are certain people in your life that can be considered your true friend. Your parents. My mom has always been here for me no matter what always willing to listen and give me advice. Your grandparents. I have the two most craziest grandparents ever! They are always willing to make me pancakes and help get me out of trouble. God.. God has given us the best advice of all time in the Bible. The information we get from God in the Bible is advice we need to hear. He loves us no matter what. God-siblings.... I have the best god sister of all time! She has been here since I was born. She gives me her old clothes, advice, moral support, and relationship talks. We got my church families. I have god parents at church that I know I can rely on no matter what. I got  best friends at church that I know I can always go to if I need a laugh. I have my moms boyfriend who is willing to buy me anything I want and take me any where I need to go. I got my bestfriend John who aggrevates me all the time but I know he's here for me. Nobody needs a part time friend! I have plenty of people around me who actually care that I'm done worrying about all this nonsense going on with everyone else.

A Common Love

A Common Love  for each other, a common gift to the savior. This is one of my favorite church songs! One thing binds us all together and that is the love of the Savior. He died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins without him doing this we would all be without hope. We were all put here for a reason and that was to serve God. We are tied together and need to support each other. It is a bond holding us to the truth! JESUS IS THE TRUTH! This is a song with such powerful words. If you haven't ever heard this song you really need to and don't just listen to how it sounds listen to the words. Think about what the words mean and how they relate to you, your life, and your bond with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Starting Rumors

Have you ever started a rumor or helped spread one? I hear rumors all the time and even heard rumors that were started about me. It's seriously sad when someone has nothing better to do then start rumors about someone else. Rumors can break people down and they hurt! Nobody's perfect everyone makes mistakes so why make up stuff about people that isn't true? Spreading rumors can ruin people's reputations. Are you that concerned with someone else life that you have to sit there and spread rumors. Have you ever heard the phrase if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? Then keep people's names out of your mouth unless it involves you. Starting rumors is not worth it and neither is spreading rumors. If you know something about someone keep it to yourself! Think about how you would feel if you were in their shoes how do you think you would feel when people start rumors about you... You wouldn't like it so what makes you think someone else would like it?

Big Brother Big Sister

This year I am participating in Big Brother Big Sister! I didn't get to participate in it last year due to a misunderstanding but I'm glad I get to this year. On Feburary 6 I will be matched with my little. As a big sister I get to mentor a little, spend time with them, encourage them, and most importantly be there friend. Maybe I will even be able to get to get my little interested in the Bible and influence them in a Godly manner... I know I sure will try.

Yesterday I did my bulletin board at church. It might have taken a while to do but I like how it turned out and I hope that you do to.

Article Editorial

This year's convention theme is "One," so while writing my article editorial  I tied it together with something close to me... Band. I really hope that you enjoy reading it! 

PowerPoint

This year I did a powerpoint  for convention. It is the first time competing in this event and I am so excited! I hope you will get the chance to look at it and it will have an affect on you. I really enjoyed working on the PowerPoint and I plan on doing it again next year.
